A rogue wave pulls surfers Brady (Ross Lynch) and McKenzie (Maia Mitchell) out of their summer and into "Wet Side Story," a '60s beach party movie where bikers and surfers are about to fight. Jeffrey Hornaday fills the screen with surfboards, choreographed crowds and songs that start without warning. Underneath, it's about whether you can love a movie made for other people without wanting to change it.
