Beacon Hills, California, is howling again, and the thing behind it is an ancient evil that has come back to the town. Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) is no longer a teenager, but he is still an Alpha, and he calls old friends like Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) and Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) back to help. Russell Mulcahy directs the reunion at a run, passing the story from one returning face to the next.
