“Survival is no game”

Jin Kazama (Jonathan Patrick Foo) enters the Iron Fist Tournament in 2039, a fighter looking to avenge the loss of his mother, Jun Kazama. The tournament is sponsored by the Mishima Zaibatsu, the corporation that rules the territory after the World Wars, with Heihachi Mishima (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) at its head. Dwight H. Little stages the bouts as a string of close, hard-hitting exchanges, giving the fights most of the film's weight.
