Telefon

(1977)Directed by Don Siegel102 minThriller, Action
“They'll do anything to stop Telefon. The operation that can trigger 51 human time bombs.”

Across the United States, ordinary people answer their phones, hear a line of a Robert Frost poem, and walk off to blow up a military target. Nicolai Dalchimsky (Donald Pleasence), a rogue KGB man, is working through a stolen notebook of sleeper agents planted in the 1950s, each one hypnotized to forget their mission until the call comes. Don Siegel sends Major Grigori Borzov (Charles Bronson) after him, with every name in the notebook still unused.
