Tell It to the Bees

“Some secrets are too powerful to keep.”

Dr. Jean Markham (Anna Paquin) comes back to the town she left as a teenager to take over her late father's medical practice. When a schoolyard scuffle sends a boy named Charlie to her surgery, she invites him to her garden to tell his secrets to the bees, as she once did, and his mother Lydia (Holliday Grainger) is soon part of Jean's days. Annabel Jankel keeps to the hives in Jean's garden, where the two women stand with the bees humming between them.
