Telstar: The Joe Meek Story

Joe Meek (Con O'Neill) runs a recording operation out of a cramped flat above a shop on a London street in the early 1960s, piling up homemade sound effects and chasing the hit that will make him the first independent record producer anyone has heard of. Major Banks (Kevin Spacey) bankrolls the work, and landlady Mrs. Violet Shenton (Pam Ferris) listens through the floor. Success arrives with Telstar, and Joe, who cannot stop pushing, trusts almost no one.
