With her graduate work in psychotherapy finished, she takes an internship at a matchmaking firm for millionaires, where Harley Madison (Robbie Jones), a billionaire investor, makes his interest in her plain. Tyler Perry adapts his own play to show how a marriage can wear down quietly, long before anyone is tempted to leave it.
