Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

“An epic quest. A magical guitar pick. A chance to put the D in Destiny.”

JB (Jack Black) is a naive Midwesterner who lands in Venice Beach with big dreams and a loud voice. He meets the local slacker KG (Kyle Gass), and together they form Tenacious D, determined to become the greatest band in the world. Liam Lynch sends them on a 300-mile trip to steal a magical guitar pick from a rock-and-roll museum, with Ronnie James Dio along for the ride.
