Tension

(1949)Directed by John Berry95 minThriller, Crime
“In every two-timing kiss you will feel…TENSION!”

In 1949 Los Angeles, Warren Quimby (Richard Basehart) manages a drugstore and spends his evenings trying to keep his restless wife, Claire (Audrey Totter), from leaving. When she goes anyway, for a liquor store salesman, he sets about building a new identity to wipe out the man without leaving a trace. John Berry follows a quiet, decent person making a cold plan, and what it shows is how ordinary a man can look while he does it.
