Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) spent decades hunting Terminators after machines nearly destroyed humanity. A new liquid-metal REV-9 (Gabriel Luna) arrives from the future to kill Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), a factory worker who will matter in the war to come. Sarah and a augmented soldier named Grace (Mackenzie Davis) have to keep Dani alive, but the REV-9 cannot be stopped, cannot be reasoned with, and learns faster than they do.
