“Welcome to the day after judgement day.”

Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) has spent decades hunting the machines she stopped once before, and she is not done. A new Terminator arrives to kill Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), the future leader of the resistance, and Sarah joins an enhanced soldier named Grace (Mackenzie Davis) to keep her alive. Tim Miller sets them against the REV-9 (Gabriel Luna), and if Dani dies, there is no one left to lead the fight for mankind.
