“Reset the future.”

In 2029, John Connor (Jason Clarke) leads the human resistance in the war against the machines, and he wants to end it at the Los Angeles offensive. Then TECOM spies bring word of a new SkyNet plot that will strike him in the past and the future at once. Alan Taylor builds the film around Connor, the machine war still burning around him, with Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) and Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) caught in the same trap.
