Terrorizers

In Taipei in 1986, a voyeuristic photographer, a rebellious teenager, and a married couple on the edge of adultery live their lives a few streets from one another. Zhou Yufang (Cora Miao) and Li Lizhong (Lee Li-Chun) are the couple, and the police chief (Ku Pao-ming) is another of the strangers the story moves between. Edward Yang cuts between these lives with a cool, observing eye and lets the city press in on every one of them.
