“Sometimes it's just a matter of chance”

Frankie (Scott Marlowe) is an understudy at a San Francisco modern dance company in 1985, and all he wants is a place in the lineup and a chance to be close to Todd (Matthew Risch), a more experienced dancer who is nothing like him. Chris Mason Johnson sets their first weeks together against the rumors of a disease that nobody around them can explain. Frankie keeps rehearsing and keeps wanting, and every new bit of news makes the wanting cost him more.
