Testament of Youth

“Divided by war. United by love.”

Vera Brittain (Alicia Vikander) has won a place at Somerville College, Oxford, but the war is taking the men around her, and she cannot say what she is supposed to do with her own life while it does. James Kent follows her from the university to the nursing wards as she leaves her studies behind. What holds her there is Roland Leighton (Kit Harington), the boy she loves, and the letters that pass between them.
