Tetsuo: The Iron Man

“Metal invades the flesh. Murder consumes the mind.”

A man pushes a length of metal into the wound in his thigh, then bolts into the night when the maggots start moving, and a businessman and his girlfriend run him down on the road. The Salaryman (Tomorowo Taguchi) and Girlfriend (Kei Fujiwara) dump the body and try to carry on. Shinya Tsukamoto shoots it in black and white, the Salaryman standing at his bathroom mirror, pressing a finger to the bright steel in his cheek.
