Texas Rangers

“Count your bullets.”

Lincoln Rogers Dunnison (James Van Der Beek) is a young man in 1870s Texas who wants a badge and a purpose, and he gets both when Captain Leander McNelly (Dylan McDermott) starts forming a company of Rangers for the Mexican border. Steve Miner fills the ranks with green recruits, a few war veterans among them, and sends them out under a hard sun. Lincoln's loyalty to McNelly and his friendship with George Durham (Ashton Kutcher) are what hold him there.
