Thangalaan

“Son of Gold”

Thangalaan (Vikram) is a tribal leader under British rule who wants one thing for his people, and he agrees to help the General Clement (Daniel Caltagirone) find gold hidden near their village. The search brings down the anger of Aarathi (Malavika Mohanan), an apparent sorceress, and Pa. Ranjith sets the hunt against the red earth of the gold fields. Thangalaan goes after her with everything he has, though it may take more than he can spare.
