Thank You for Smoking

“Nick Naylor doesn't hide the truth...he filters it.”

Nick Naylor (Aaron Eckhart) is the chief spokesman for Big Tobacco, and he spends his days on talk shows arguing, with a straight face, that Americans have the right to smoke. A senator wants cigarettes gone, so Nick leans harder on his gift for filtering the truth. Jason Reitman's film keeps Nick's twelve-year-old son, Joey (Cameron Bright), close by, watching a father who is trying to be a role model and a salesman at once.
