That Man from Rio

“Look what they call a quiet week in Rio!”

Adrien Dufourquet (Jean-Paul Belmondo) has eight days of leave and one plan, which is to spend them with his fiancée Agnès (Françoise Dorléac) in Paris. Then a priceless statue is stolen from a museum and her father's old partner, Professor Catalan, is carried off with it, and the trail leads all the way to Brazil. Philippe de Broca sends the two of them after it, and Adrien, a soldier who only wanted a quiet week, goes along at a dead run.
