That Sinking Feeling

“There's got to be more to life than committing suicide.”

Ronnie (Robert Buchanan) is a jobless teenager in rainy Glasgow, bored enough to notice that stainless steel sinks are worth good money. He pulls in Wal (Billy Greenlees), Andy (John Gordon Sinclair) and Vic (John Hughes) for a scheme that involves a warehouse, a stop-motion potion and the four of them dressed as girls. Bill Forsyth's first feature, cast from the Glasgow Youth Theatre, leaves them with nothing to lose but another empty week.
