“MADCAPS OF THE CAMPUS!”

At Ridgefield College, Jack Jackson is still remembered as the greatest football player the school has ever had, and his son Junior (Jerry Lewis) is a bookworm with allergies and no coordination. Jack leans on his standing as top alumni donor to push the coach into giving Junior a place on the team. He also pays the tuition of Bill Baker (Dean Martin), a classmate with real all-American talent, and Hal Walker's film starts with Baker moving into Junior's room.
