The 5th Wave

“Protect your own.”

Sixteen-year-old Cassie Sullivan (Chloë Grace Moretz) only wants to get to her little brother Sam (Zackary Arthur), and she has to cross a country emptied by waves of alien attacks to do it. Every stranger on the road is a risk she has to size up, because the invasion has already thinned the population and sent what remains back to the Stone Age. J Blakeson directs it at a hard run, keeping the camera close on Cassie as the danger builds around her.
