The 7th Day

“Thirty years of hatred. One bloody Sunday”

In a Spanish village, two families have hated each other for three decades, over a failed love affair, a dispute about land, and a fire that burned the Fuentes house to the ground. Isabel (Yohana Cobo), a teenager, grows up inside that quarrel, watching her uncle killed and her father (Juan Diego) targeted with a knife. Carlos Saura leaves her standing in the village, still searching for who set the fire.
