The Abandoned

“Where hope goes to die.”

Streak (Louisa Krause) takes a night job as a security guard in an abandoned luxury apartment building, hoping it will give her life some shape. Her partner is Cooper (Jason Patric), a brusque rent-a-cop who wants little to do with her, and the long hours pass in empty halls she is sure are playing tricks on her mind. Eytan Rockaway makes his directorial debut here, and the trouble is that she can no longer tell what is in her head and what is in the building.
