The Absent One

A man has already confessed and been convicted of killing a pair of twins in 1994, yet their father, a former police officer, still comes to Department Q asking who really did it. Carl Mørck (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) and his partner Hafez el-Assad (Fares Fares) start reading the old file and find the case closed too neatly. Mikkel Nørgaard sends them into the case, and Carl keeps pulling at it even as it begins to cost him.
