The Accidental Husband

“Falling in love...even the expert is confused.”

Dr. Emma Lloyd (Uma Thurman), a radio host who dispenses relationship advice, is days from marrying Richard Braxton (Colin Firth) when she learns she is already legally married to a man she has never met. He is Patrick Sullivan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a New York fireman, and he forged the paperwork because of what she told his ex-fiancée on the air. Griffin Dunne sets the two in a standoff of his rumpled apartment against her polished one.
