The Accursed

“Are you ready to gaze into hell?”

The cabin feels wrong to Elly (Sarah Grey), though she can't say why. A family friend sends her into the woods for a few days to look after an elderly woman, Ms. Ambrose (Meg Foster), and what she takes for a quiet escape starts to bend, her waking hours slipping into her dreams until she can't tell them apart. Kevin Lewis keeps the camera close and the hours uncertain, so the film plays like a dream half remembered at three in the morning.
