“Past meets future.”

A wounded fighter pilot steals a time jet and crashes in 2022, where he finds a mouthy 12-year-old who turns out to be himself. Big Adam (Ryan Reynolds) needs Young Adam (Walker Scobell) to help him reach his father, Louis Reed (Mark Ruffalo), and get back to the future. Shawn Levy keeps it moving with quick banter between the two Adams and hard, fast chases.
