The Adderall Diaries

“The truth is a motherf_cker.”

Stephen Elliott (James Franco) built his writing on a brutal childhood, and then his estranged father, Neil (Ed Harris), turns up insisting that much of it never happened. Pamela Romanowsky follows Stephen through a new romance with Lana (Amber Heard) and the murder trial of Hans Reiser (Christian Slater), which keeps pulling at his own history. Stephen keeps writing, keeps taking the pills, and cannot say which of his memories to trust.
