The Admiral: Roaring Currents

“12 ships against a fleet of 330.”

The question hanging over the Joseon fleet is how thirteen battleships could hold a narrow strait against some three hundred Japanese vessels. Admiral Yi Sun-Shin (Choi Min-sik) is ordered to defend the coast with those ships, while the enemy commander Kurushima Michifusa (Ryu Seung-ryong) sails toward him. Kim Han-min builds the film around the Battle of Myeongnyang, and if Yi fails, the nation goes down with his ships.
