The Adopted

Lisa (Mélanie Laurent) shares her days with Marine (Marie Denarnaud) and raises her young son Leo alongside her, and the only man either of them lets in is the boy. Then Marine falls for Alex (Denis Ménochet), a customer at her bookshop, and Lisa starts to feel pushed to the edge of the life they built. Laurent sets the household on a fault line, with a family's whole shape at risk once an accident forces everyone to take a new place.
