The Adults

“Some adults need to grow up.”

Eric (Michael Cera) comes back to the town where he grew up, planning a visit short enough to dodge most of what waits there. His sisters Rachel (Hannah Gross) and Maggie (Sophia Lillis) want his time, and so does the poker game with his old friends, which he can't leave alone. Dustin Guy Defa films the three siblings in ordinary rooms, letting their old habits and teasing come through in how they talk.
