The Adventures of Prince Achmed

A sorcerer and a prince are locked in a fight that carries them through one wonder after another, all of it drawn from tales in The Arabian Nights. Lotte Reiniger cut every figure from paper and shot the film frame by frame, which makes it the oldest animated feature that still survives. Prince Achmed goes on setting out into each new marvel, because the sorcerer is always one step ahead of him.
