Joyce Webster (Beverly Garland) looks like any well-adjusted young woman, until a hypnotist coaxes out a story that a lie detector says is true. She was married once and has forgotten it, and her husband vanished on the day of their honeymoon. Roy Del Ruth, in one of his last films, shoots her search in CinemaScope as she follows it to a mansion deep in the swamp.
