The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse

Dr. T.S. Clitterhouse (Edward G. Robinson) is a wealthy society physician who wants to study the medical side of criminal behaviour, so he decides to commit crimes himself. He falls in with a gang of thieves and begins taking leadership from 'Rocks' Valentine (Humphrey Bogart), who resents every minute of it. Anatole Litvak keeps the doctor in his good suit, the scientist's notes beside the stolen goods, and the gang's resentment rising behind him.
