The Amazing Maurice

“A furry tale about me.”

Maurice (Hugh Laurie), a streetwise ginger cat, has built a living on a scam with a gang of self-taught talking rats, who pass through town after town and get paid to clear the place of rats. Then Malicia (Emilia Clarke), a bookworm with a head full of stories, joins the act, and the con starts to come apart. Toby Genkel's film, from a Terry Pratchett novel, is about what happens to a creature who has only ever looked out for himself once other people depend on him.
