“The untold story begins.”

Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is a teenager who wants to know why his parents left him with Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and then vanished. His search leads him to Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), his father's old colleague, and to a bite that gives him powers he doesn't yet know how to use. Marc Webb puts a quiet, awkward bond at the center: Peter and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), two kids learning how to talk to each other.
