The American Society of Magical Negroes

“Saving the damn world.”

Aren (Justice Smith) is a young artist who has learned to get through each day by keeping everyone around him comfortable. That habit gets him recruited by Roger (David Alan Grier) into a secret society of magical Black people, whose work is making white people's lives easier. Kobi Libii's first feature follows Aren as he's handed a first client and a quiet question about what he owes the people he's smoothing things over for.
