“What happened over the next 28 days has never been explained.”

George Lutz (Ryan Reynolds), his wife Kathy (Melissa George) and their three children move into a Dutch colonial mansion on Long Island, too cheap to be true. Andrew Douglas keeps the family in close quarters while the house starts feeding each of them violent visions and sudden impulses. Under the strange behavior, the film is about how fast a family can stop trusting the people they sleep next to.
