The Anonymous Venetian
“There is a love that can tear you apart... and hold you together.”
In Venice in 1970, the musician Enrico (Tony Musante) writes to his ex-wife Valeria (Florinda Bolkan) and asks her to come and stay with him. He gives no reason for the invitation, and she comes anyway. Enrico Maria Salerno, in his first film as director, lets the two of them settle into the city's quiet rooms, Valeria with her heart open again and Enrico holding back what he has not said.
