The Apostle

“"There are sentences that cannot be escaped"”

A sentence worse than prison waits in a small, secluded Galician village, and nobody there will say what it is. Ramón (Carlos Blanco), a convict newly escaped, comes back to dig up the treasure he hid years ago. Fernando Cortizo, working in adult stop-motion, sends him in for the money, and the longer he stays, the less certain it is that he will ever be allowed to leave.
