The Appaloosa

“Southwest to Sonora rode the lustful, the lawless... to live on the edge of violence!”

Matt (Marlon Brando) wants one thing, and it is his appaloosa back, taken from him by a Mexican bandit named Chuy (John Saxon). He follows the trail across dry country into Mexico, where Chuy's men, Lazaro (Emilio Fernández) among them, have no reason to hand over a horse. Sidney J. Furie puts Matt in the dust and sun with nothing but stubbornness, and he keeps going.
