The Apprentice

“An American horror story.”

Donald Trump (Sebastian Stan) is a young man in 1970s New York with his father's money behind him and a hunger to be known on his own. He finds his teacher in Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong), a lawyer who sees that ambition and offers to sharpen it. Ali Abbasi follows the pair through the following decade, as the lessons Cohn hands down start to cost more than the young man understood.
