The Artifice Girl

“She's not real. She's more than that.”

Gareth (Franklin Ritch) is a developer who wants to build a program that can catch online predators without putting a real child in harm's way. Agents Deena (Sinda Nichols) and Amos (David Girard) bring him in, and the program becomes Cherry (Tatum Matthews), a digital girl who learns faster than anyone planned. Ritch keeps the story mostly to rooms and conversations, where the question becomes what people owe an artificial intelligence they have made.
