The Artist and the Model

In the summer of 1943, in occupied France, the aging sculptor Marc Cros (Jean Rochefort) has stopped working and has little interest in starting again. Then Mercè (Aida Folch), a young Spanish refugee, comes to pose for him, and his old hunger for the work returns. Fernando Trueba keeps the story to the two of them, and what Marc has left to make rests on whether she stays.
