The Ash Lad: In Search of the Golden Castle

The King and Queen have been poisoned, and the blame falls on Per (Mads Sjøgård Pettersen) and Pål (Elias Holmen Sørensen), who are locked up for it. Their younger brother Espen (Vebjørn Enger) sets out with Princess Kristin (Eili Harboe) to find Soria Moria, a castle of pure gold said to hold the Water of Life. Mikkel Brænne Sandemose gives Espen a quest for his brothers' freedom, and the wicked Danes hunting the same castle are close behind.
