The Assassination Bureau

(1969)Directed by Basil Dearden112 min · PGAction, Adventure, Crime, Comedy, Thriller
“Zeppelins. Bombs. Bordellos. Burials. You name It. We have It.”

London in 1908 has a firm that kills for a fee, the Assassination Bureau Limited, and a women's rights campaigner named Sonya Winter (Diana Rigg) has found out about it. She pays the Bureau to take out its own chairman, Ivan Dragomiloff (Oliver Reed), who responds by telling his board they can either kill him or be killed themselves. Basil Dearden stages the chase across Europe as a brisk comic adventure, with Telly Savalas and Curd Jürgens among the pursuers.
