The Assassination of Richard Nixon

“The mad story of a true man.”

Samuel Bicke (Sean Penn) wants one honest job and a loan to open his own business, and in 1974 nobody will give him either. His wife has left with their three kids, his brother has turned away, and his boss has let him go. Niels Mueller keeps him in the frame as the bank refuses him, and Bicke stays in his rumpled suit, still holding his papers.
