The Assessment

“Would you pass?”

Mia (Elizabeth Olsen) and her husband Aaryan (Himesh Patel) have seven days to prove they deserve a child, in a world wrecked by climate change where parenthood is licensed. Virginia (Alicia Vikander), the evaluator, moves into their home to watch how they live and argue. Fleur Fortuné, directing her first feature, keeps the camera close and the rooms quiet, so every ordinary moment feels like part of the test.
