The Assignment

Jack Shaw (Donald Sutherland) is a veteran CIA agent who has chased the assassin Carlos the Jackal for over twenty years and barely lived through the bombing of a Paris cafe. His break comes in Annibal Ramirez (Aidan Quinn), an American naval officer and family man who looks exactly like the killer. Christian Duguay builds the film on a CIA plan to turn one man into the other, and the question underneath it is how much of a person is his face.
